Directions
From downtown Pittsburgh, take the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Interstate 279. From Interstate 279, take Exit 13, Chestnut Street. The Heinz Plant should be in front of you at the end of the exit. Turn left onto Chestnut Street. Go straight through the intersection of Chestnut Street and East Ohio Street. Continue straight on Chestnut Street, which becomes Itin Street, going through the intersection of Chestnut Street and Spring Garden Avenue. Proceed straight up the hill. At the top of the hill, ESB Bank (Spring Hill Savings) will be on your left. Turn left here onto Rhine Street and then make 2nd left onto Haslage Avenue.
Note: St. Ambrose School's entrance does not have a street number. Look for a pair of glass doors with steps in front parallel to Haslage Street.
